Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to you all!! Thank you for following this blog, it helps Eric to know that you're all thinking, and praying for him. He had chemo today and is a little down, it's difficult to handle cancer on a normal day, but chemo on Christmas Eve is definitely no fun. To all of you and your families thank you for blessing ours with your comfort, prayers, and comments, they mean so much to us. Oh by the way, if your counting that's 2 more chemo treatments to go!! Woohoo!

Here is a picture of Eric with 4 of his favorite people (other than Lauren)

I’ve been thinking about this Christmas and the meaning of family unity. The love, the support in which we give to each other when unpredictable crisis occurs. To my loving wife who is always there to support our families needs, I watch her with sometimes joy and other time with emotions followed by tears. Eric, Santa and I were lucky enough to support a family this year who was in need of a nice Christmas. We put the gifts under the tree and Santa gave his usual Ho, Ho. One of the children has leukemia and was also going through Chemo and Eric responded telling him he also was going through the tuff times of Chemo and that magic word HOPE, and never give up, that the day will come when everything is okay. I was so proud of Eric and he will always mean something to not only his family but to everyone that knows him. Eric I love you and wish you a Merry Christmas Step Daddy
